I listened to the 12.28.69 show this weekend and it might have the wildest Mason's Children. Rage factor was on full throttle. Lyrics were all a mess, but the jams were burning hot.

now if you wanna hear a real angry, raging dew you gotta turn to jeff beck. hits like a steam hammer. rough and ready 71-72 line up did it best

good point; Morning Dew isn't so much angry as bittersweet, by the GD.

Originally meant as a song about the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust... a protest, a requiem, what have you.

I've heard the Jeff Beck Group version, need to hear it again.

Jerry wrote the lyrics to Cream Puff War, a pretty angry song, yes?

The cymbols from the beginning set the tone on that version. Damn, this is a great version. Good call.
